After assessing the weather and fields this morning we have made the decision to cancel Saturday's games. There is currently freezing rain, and the ground has hardened significantly. In the effort to avoid unnecessarily putting players in harms way we feel it is best that we hold off on playing for today. The weather forecast predicts that the storm will worsen in severity as the day continues. Please notify your teams immediately.
Tonight's party will still go on as planned, feel free to come earlier than usual due to the circumstances. With the absence of a captains meeting you will just receive a wristband at the door by saying the team you play for.
The weather forecast for tomorrow looks much more promising, and we will make an announcement on the status of Sunday's games by later this evening. We will likely move straight to bracket play, and look to offer every team as many games as possible.
Again, we apologize for the circumstances. Due to safety concerns we feel this is the right decision. If anyone in town is interested in information about things to do during the day please inquire with the TD's (movie theatre location, bar locations, restaurants, bar locations).
